@ChrisMurphyCT You're being played by people who want regulatory capture.
They are scaring everyone with dubious studies so that open source models are regulated out of existence.
Technological innovation can be a form of participation in the divine act of creation. It carries an ethical and spiritual weight, for every design choice expresses a vision of humanity. The Church therefore calls all builders of #AI to cultivate moral discernment as a fundamental part of their work—to develop systems that reflect justice, solidarity, and a genuine reverence for life.
That’s a beautiful building and I can’t imagine what the thinking was to tear it down. And I hate cars and what they’ve done to our neighborhoods and city design.
But I’ve come to accept the consequences of a highly mobile and individualized economy that spans thousands of miles. And lamenting something just because aesthetics were lost is not the whole picture.
Though a better example for me would have been a parking garage instead of a lot. Lots are minimal use which happen when the owner has no idea what to do, no capital to do it, or no zoning approval.
@lexfridman@scotthortonshow Can anyone TLDL this one question? Is he promoting a one world authoritarian government or just illustrating all the armageddon inducing incentives structures of war?
@matt_vanswol I care. Had a diving board installed on our pool and it sucks. No spring. I have a mind to search out a springy board and commando install it. No pool people will touch them.
Incandescents will certainly have a trend bump as we just love the idea of a simple step to increase our health. It’s hard to imagine changing a light bulb will have any noticeable effect on me.
Having said that, I’ve got $400 of new full spectrum lights sitting here and an electrician coming this morning to change out our led can lights for old fashioned socket fixtures. So yeah I’m in.
So the guess is it has to do with the degradation of the aluminum wire bonding in the battery that occurs over time with expansion and contraction? Maybe this is more likely to happen after around 100k miles and also with quick temperature changes like when it heats up for a super charge? How many miles do you have on it.
Just got a new X so maybe I’ll keep a backup car….
