@ChrisDokish yep. And the fallout since they decided to retain Capel is NOT Capel's fault. These current and future players see a coach who isn't supported by the administration. They fired his brother and two other assistants. Players are probably pissed off--they love the staff.

@Dueycbb Excellent hire for Cuse. He played and coached there way longer than he was at Siena so not really a big jump for him at all.

@dabrams24 ‘94 (my grad year) was magical for BC athletics. I loved this squad more than any before or since. So damn good. Btw I think I played against you (scrimmage) in high school (I played for White Plains HS). I remember thinking that big, young kid has great hands!

@bcatleagle All good coaches (I think??) but GMac also brings some P5 swagger. He played and coached at highest level and talent assessment is key. I don’t see Gallo’s zone D working in the ACC unless he has really athletic, really long players.

@bcatleagle It's pretty nuanced though...he inherited a winless ACC team, got to the tourney once, won 2 games, was robbed of a second appearance. Has had terrible luck with injuries etc. Plus his buyout is too big and recruiting class too good. Right decision for this year at least.

@steelcitytim412 I think maybe just a couple minutes less. They would have had the option to go with a bigger rotation at times and had Roman, Dishon and Cam all on the floor at once.
