Imagine my internal monologue as I share a Korean corn dog with my same-gender partner, both of us POC, in a parking lot in Red Deer as a Son of Odin walks on by. Nice.
However and whenever and to whomever you come out is valid. You are valid.
There is no perfect way to come out. But in this moment, and on your point on your journey, you are as close to perfect as one can be.
Wherever you are in your journey, you are valid, you are seen, and you are loved.
Today, on #NationalComingOutDay, and every day, know that I am a safe space for you. 🏳️⚧️🤍🏳️🌈

I am definitely for #mayorsohi. Let’s go #SohiForMayor. This man has the tenacity, leadership smarts, and a focus on relationship building that Edmonton needs to level up in our next chapter.
This is a pivotal moment for our city. What we do next matters. And how we do it is just as important.
That is why I am running to be Edmonton’s next mayor.
