@dubsndoo OAS is for all! Juat because some people work harder, invest wisely and plan their futures better doesn't allow morons like you to remove what they are to receive. It's types like you that reward those who are generally lazy and make poor choices so shove it!
@dubsndoo What other entitlements would you like to review, Terry, and have removed so that the Liberals can give away more money to foreign countries? Please share your list.
@dubsndoo But let’s keep
Paying for immigrants
You really think rich people keep any off that money
It is tax to the point of nothing left
How do you reward people that don’t save and don’t look after there money for retirement but penalize people who do
@dubsndoo No Terry. Everyone should get OAS. It shouldn't be taken away from people who worked harder, smarter, contributed more and paid more taxes. It is one more theft from government... which just wastes money by the billions anyway.
Our president just called Canada “one of the worst countries in the entire world.”
Canada.
This is an absurd thing for an American president to say about one of our closest allies.
If he’ll say something this ridiculous with a straight face, why should anyone trust a word that comes out of his mouth?

A tiny newborn elephant was swept away from its mother while trying to cross the swollen Teesta River in India.
Fishermen spotted its trunk above the water and chased it for nearly 4 km through the powerful current before pulling the exhausted calf to safety.
Then, after a two-hour search, they found its mother. She rushed to her baby, took it back and began nursing it❤
1) Saskatchewan has the world’s largest potash deposits, producing twice as much potash as Belarus. 85% of US potash imports come from Saskatchewan, efficiently and reliably shipped by rail.
2) Belarus is a brutal dictatorship and puppet state for Vladimir Putin under international (including American) sanctions for gross human rights abuses.
3) Belarusian potash production has been fully contracted to Asian buyers (eg China and India) since the imposition of western sanctions. Belarusian dictator Lukashenko has already said "Even if we wanted to supply somewhere else, Western markets, we just don't have those volumes, everything has been contracted."
4) The US Government does not buy potash. US fertilizer companies and ag producers do. Those private sector buyers have consistently demonstrated their preference for Canadian potash.
5) President Trump tariffed Canadian potash early in 2025, then backed off days later following loud protests from American ag producers and their Congressional representatives.
Team Canada Strong is our plan to recruit, train, and hire 100,000 skilled trades workers — to build Canada’s ports, homes, bridges, and roads.
That plan just kicked into high gear. Starting today, Canadian businesses can apply for funding to hire and train new apprentices — getting more Canadian talent onto job sites, fast.

Great speech by @stephenharper affirming that "Canada had no choice" but to walk away from Washington's bad faith attacks on our economy & sovereignty.
This is an important message to our US friends: Canada stands united.
And to the alt right Maga North fans: this is what mature, patriotic Canadian conservatism looks like. Not grovelling to those who threaten us, but quiet dignity and determination to defend our sovereignty and be masters of our economic destiny.
Trump: Canada has been too reliant on and taken advantage of the US for too long.
Canada: OK, we'll take our business elsewhere and make major military purchases at home, in Australia, in Sweden and elsewhere in Europe.
Trump: That's not what I meant...
