JUST IN: Saildrone Explorer SD-1045 passed through the eye of Category 3 Hurricane Isaias, recording wind gusts over 90 knots (103 mph).

This is the same USV that filmed inside Hurricane Sam in 2021, setting a Guinness World Record.

Unfortunately, the worst case scenario is unfolding with #Isaias on the verge of becoming a major hurricane this morning. The NHC forecast now calls for Isaias to become an extremely dangerous Category 3 hurricane prior to landfall. You should be preparing for a Category higher. A major hurricane at landfall means this storm will rival Fredrick, Opal, Ivan, and Dennis. This is a life-threatening situation for those on the coast of Alabama & the Florida Panhandle. Please heed evacuation orders from officials if you’re in the path of this storm. #tropicalupdate

First, it's a hurricane headed this way then the OLED monitor my family bought me for my upcoming bday was DOA (wouldn't power on), and then the 12-pin GPU cable melted two PSU slots.
