@BuzzPatterson Mine was a 17.5, Kuwait to Andrews AFB. But…. It was the third leg of the day. Doha to Al Udeid .5, Al Udeid to Kuwait 1.5. Kuwait to Andrews 17.5 ( with an AR). 19.5 hours of flying time in a 24 hour duty day.

@MCCCANM Flew with a DEN bus captain quite a bit before he retired in 21. He was a deadheading Second officer in the crash. Incredible story. He was the last crew survivor that was still flying the DC10 when Al retired. Al Haynes asked him to be his flight engineer on his Fini flight

@BuzzPatterson I was a young C5 Aircraft Commander and took an icy 90 degree turn off at Elmendorf one winter. Didn’t go off-roading, but there was a spicy few seconds going sideways faster than we were going forward!
