Any interested can read the introduction to my new book here. It explores two distinct habits of modern cultures that offer challenges to a theology of God's "dominion".

Yesterday my first book, The Trinitarian Theology of John Webster, was released with Bloomsbury Publishing UK.
It is a joy to see this work in print!

One of the most awe-inspiring places I’ve been. It is a stunning example of the way that modern architecture can don’t have to be depressingly utilitarian, but have the capacity to inspire wonder and overwhelm us with their beauty.
Además de la materia prima que tienen, el concepto y la ejecución son de 10, como aquella inauguración de los juegos olímpicos. En Madrid no hay nadie al volante, la gobierna una cutrez desoladora que le vende las campanadas a Netflix por 50 céntimos.

@David_Mahfood It doesn’t seem like it’s materially necessary for his argument, though, so I’ve often wondered if it should be understood more rhetorically, or maybe as a way of setting redemption in relation to the ransom tradition.
@David_Mahfood I suppose it’s not the number as such that seems odd, but that the number of one class would be determined as compensating for the number defecting from another class.
@LoweJohnThomas@USCPress Oh, excellent. Let me know when you’re planning to be on campus. I’d love to grab a drink or some lunch and pick your brain about this.
Yup. And it’s kind of crazy how this stereotype has shaped Protestant readings of our own history. When people like Edwards are regarded as crypto-Catholic, something has gone wrong . . .
Sometimes people are taught that Catholics believe in infused righteousness and Protestants believe in imputed righteousness. But this dichotomy is only applicable with regard to justification. The Reformed orthodox *did* have a doctrine of infused virtue wrt sanctification.
