Helping people better appreciate the world through science and museums! Sometimes tweets about space telescopes, but I only speak for myself. he/him/his
I get that things were a mess and don't blame anyone for us missing my first niece's first Christmas, but I am very upset over @Delta not refunding us and assuming they provided a service by getting us to Atlanta.
I'm very frustrated with the response I've gotten from @Delta through e-mail over issues we had at Christmas. Maybe @Delta's social media reps can help me?
We were finally given a partial refund last week, but only for "unflown milage". We're still out over $1000 plus the train travel back. Is there anything @Delta can do to help?
The Eagle Nebula offers views of a stellar nursery in multiple wavelengths, allowing us to see both the dense cocoons of dust and the stars forming within.

I loved the hands on science session at #ASTC2022. Museums around the country giving back to the Pittsburgh community with science demos for kids out on a bridge that we closed down.
Day 2! #ASTC2022 Twitter seems pretty quiet. Probably cause there isn't much to complain about ;). Been some great conversations. Astronomy, accessibility, community partnerships, and more for me!
#ASTC2022 has started! Intro in progress, about to get into the keynote. Join the What's Next? session at 1:00 to continue the discussion on small groups.
Time to warm up the twittering. I'll be off to #ASTC2022 next week! I'm actually excited about this conference being in person. Let me know if you're going to be there and we can meet up!
@thewub@SpaceTelescope No, though we've gotten lots of requests. We are looking into what we can put out to help folks out, but that may take a few weeks.
I was on @MorningEdition today for @SpaceTelescope and the importance of alt-text! That's as big as it gets in my book. How do they make me not hate the sound of my own voice?! https://t.co/EbmeY8S2Rv
@FastCompany also just released an awesome piece on @NASAWebb@SpaceTelescope alt-text that gets more in depth and takes the time to recognize the people involved, both inside and outside, disabled and able-bodied, without whom this work couldn't happen.
I'd like to say to folks who found my personal twitter, thanks to @SinaBahram and Prime Access Consulting for their work, past and future, helping us improve our text description game (and lots of other accessibility stuff!)
