@souly9999@0xtiago_ This is a fascinating set of criteria to use lol. I am curious what you consider to be woke and non-woke responses to the question in your second standard.
@0xtiago_ The Elysia author is making some very pro-LGBTQ posts right now (based) which I think most people who are "anti-woke," particularly when it comes to LGBTQ issues, such as this person, would perceive as "woke." Make of that what you will.
@tetsuo_cpp For as long as I have been aware of the guy, he has been posting terrible takes about LGBTQ issues, as well as some bad ones about Palestine. It's a shame because he made some really good videos about tech history though.
@souly9999@0xtiago_ I disagree. I think it's good for AI to affirm the gender people identify with, as someone who likes woke software lol. Back to bun, the most compelling evidence of the bun community being woke is the Elysia framework, which is endorsed by bun. Outside of that it is apolitical.
@0xtiago_@souly9999 This is completely untrue and only people who don't understand the "pro-woke" perspective would think such a thing. If you think that "woke" people support the Department of War, then you really don't understand "woke" people. Opposing government overreach is apolitical though.
@souly9999@0xtiago_ Yeah, corporations have those things for PR and legal reasons. It doesn't really make them "woke," in my view, but I guess it does by your criteria, which is fair enough lol. Examples of the model being woke to me are just things like it not using racist or homophobic language.
@souly9999@0xtiago_ I would agree that the AIs themselves can be very woke, but think that the companies that make them are inherently nonwoke if that makes sense. The companies that make them only care about being woke to the extent that it makes the product more widely appealing.
@souly9999@0xtiago_ I would actually argue that they are the most woke AI company, for not agreeing to let the department of war use Claude, but AI companies are all nonwoke by default so you don't really need to worry about that.
@souly9999@0xtiago_@bunjavascript In contrast, I use *woke* software as much as possible for ethical reasons, but I don't have a problem with bun and use it, so make of that what you will lol.
@scullx@ben_codez@htmx_org@joshmanders It doesn't make sense at all. I have seen multiple people propose this and it just shows that they don't understand what Tailwind is and don't know CSS.
