Tough loss last night for the Warriors, but it was a good time with these boys. They got some autographs, and Porzingis gave Lawson his arm sleeve so it softened the blow…a little.
It’s been a fun 10 year ride for #dubnation fans.

Lawson had his 6 month neurologist follow up today and everything looks great. No concerns.

We stopped by the PICU to thank the team who cared for him and brought some coffee. God used Dr. Ryan to help save our son’s life that night.

So grateful for answered prayer!

When our fear of God is minimized, the fear of man grows.
But when we walk in holy reverence of God, we are set free from approval, pressure, and fear of others. It is a right view of God that produces a fearless life.

This past week we assembled 30,000 John & Romans for the mission field and right here in Surprise. One of my favorite events of the year. Praying more Arizona churches will get behind this ministry and partner in getting God’s Word out.

Once again I’m reminded of the high and holy calling to preach the Word of God this morning to Christ church. Looking at Proverbs 3:1-4 this morning.

Every text has a structure.
The structure reveals the emphasis.
The emphasis shapes the message.
Good interpretation isn’t forcing our ideas or opinions onto the text.
It’s discovering what the text itself is highlighting.
God help us to be men that simply let the text talk.

I’m praising the Lord for what he is doing at Hillview. Last week we baptized new believers, two trusted Christ as Savior, and yesterday a young adult we’ve been praying for trusted Christ. The gospel is still changing lives🙌

We launched a new sermon series through the book of Proverbs two weeks ago at Hillview. This simple, yet profound book has been a tremendous blessing to me already. I love how the God’s Word is so applicable to our daily lives!

Yet he led a 10-year-old boy named W.A. Criswell to Christ, who would later pastor thousands and win countless souls.

Success isn’t measured by spotlight or applause, but by obedience.
