Day 17 of Sonam Sir’s Hunger-Strike.
He has started losing muscle mass and is in immense pain. Like everyone else, I begged him to end his fast.
He calmly replied, “Don’t ask me to end my fast. Ask the govt why they won’t even have a dialogue.”
The exchange of MoU between the Govt. of Nagaland & Cooperl marks the beginning of a landmark partnership built on mutual trust, shared aspirations, & a commitment to sustainable dev. I thank H.E. @thierry_mathou, Amb. @FranceinIndia & the Cooperl leadership for this partnership.
Strongly condemn the IED blast near Sukhovi, Chümoukedima, in which one Assam Rifles personnel made the supreme sacrifice and four other jawans were injured. I wish to reiterate that there is absolutely no place for violence and for those who wish to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere in our society.
May the departed soul rest in peace.
My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
Wishing the injured a speedy recovery!

"The whole incident points to a cold-blooded extrajudicial killing followed by an apparent attempt to fabricate evidence.”

Manipur : NSCN-IM and ZUF-K militants opened fire on civilians farming at Joujangtek,Noney this afternoon.
Nohjang,a villager was shot in the arm and chest, sustaining severe gunshot injuries.
Those responsible must face full force of the law.

Manipur: Why are Tangkhul separatists, who chant “We aren’t Indians” and “Go back central forces,” expecting Indian security forces to side with NSCN-IM? A Meitei DIG and Tangkhul CO of @crpfindia have already witnessed enough Kuki villages being burned without intervention.
@rlungleng Shameless Tangkhul trying all means to instigate Nagas of Nagaland to fight for Tangkhuls. It’s no longer 1990s when Tangkhuls instigated other tribes to fight for them in the name of Nagalim spearheaded by NSCN-IM.

@rlungleng Do they want the 3 teenage patients to be killed? This is Indirectly related to the patients in RIIMS and if some are really against them being treated in a public hospital. We must really question who is one-sided, if they are how they got shot in the first place?
The recent spate of sexual assault cases in our State is deeply disturbing and a matter of grave concern. The latest incident involving the alleged rape of an 82-year-old woman in Kiphire has shocked the conscience of our society.
What makes this incident even more appalling is that the accused is a police personnel, someone entrusted with the solemn responsibility of upholding the law and protecting the lives and dignity of our citizens. Such a betrayal of public trust is unacceptable and must be dealt with firmly.
I unequivocally condemn this disgraceful act and urge that the accused be brought to justice swiftly and in accordance with the law. My thoughts and prayers are with the victim and her family during this painful time.
MANIPUR CRISIS :-
All ethnic groups(Naga, Meitei, Kukis) have their own Armed groups, own drug cartels & their narratives are run by CSO’s( Civil Society org)i.e UNC’s(NSCN), COTU(KRA) , COCOMI(UNLF), AMUCO(PLA),they support militias & corrupt politicians in elections
I remember how a Meitei lady wearing Phanek was parading mutilated body of a kuki , how a kuki individual was barbarically chopping farmers head from body, body of 3 year old Meitie kid floating in water , Kuki income tax officer burnt alive infront of people, Meitie lady telling men to rape a kuki girl .
I have seen a lot in this conflict with my own eyes , when it comes to Barbarism extremist from all ethnicity have shown their extreme . These barbarians do not represent whole society.
Weapons can be seized and removed, but how do you remove the hatred and dehumanization that communities develop towards one another? That underlying hostility is what truly needs to be confronted and addressed if lasting peace is ever to be achieved.

Deeply shocked and saddened by the brutal killing of six innocent Zeliangrong Naga brothers in Manipur. This barbaric act is inhuman, unjustifiable, and a grave assault on our shared humanity.
We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of the six Zelianglong brothers. Our heartfelt condolences go out to their families, loved ones, and the entire community during this time of grief and sorrow.
No family should have to endure such pain and loss. We pray that the departed souls rest in eternal peace and that their families find strength, comfort, and courage in the days ahead.
May peace prevail, and may justice, healing, and reconciliation guide the path forward for all affected.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families.
May their souls rest in peace. 🕊️🕯️

At around 5:00 AM this morning, Tangkhul NSCN IM attacked and burnt Kultuh, a Kuki village in Kamjong district.
They also killed two men: the Head Deacon & Youth Chairman of the village.
