👇This all but confirms my theory that this movie was known by DC Studio insiders for months to be an unsalvageable bomb ahead of its release date.
Instead of dealing with that honestly they chose to blame the fans - which likely factored into Millie Alcock clips circulating here on X a few weeks before its release where she insulted “christian dads” & intimated Supergirl was gay (“triggering the chuds on X.”)
What’s ironic is that “Mandalorian & Grogu” & “Masters of the Universe” have also been financial disasters - but because the lead characters were male they couldn’t blame “toxic fans.”
DC Studios are cowards, as well as the Warner execs running cover for them
Guy openly hates Charlie Kirk. Guy vows to kill Charlie Kirk. Guy kills Charlie Kirk. Guy confesses half a dozen times to killing Charlie Kirk. Guy is on video hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of hours of video at the school and town 4 hours away from his house. Guy is confronted by his parents and confesses to them then turns himself in. People on X "Charlie Kirk was killed with space lasers and Bigfoot and Israel definitely had something to do with that and if you don't believe me then you're a Fed"
The response from sinner fans to this is really annoying. An original film with a no-name cast and youtuber director out grossing a big-name marvel movie director and big-name actors is literally only a good thing for the industry as a whole.
One of the things worth noting about SUPERGIRL is that the opening weekend audience was *59 percent* male. It’s not just that no one was interested in this, it’s that women specifically were not interested in this.
Freezing rent is not about making renting affordable, it’s about making being a landlord so unviable that the government can seize the means of production.
