@lisa_eqz Instead of going to a blood donation company, like Vitalant, I've found that at St. Jude they have their own donation center and all donations go straight to St. jude patients. Lukemia patients in particular need a TON of platelets for marrow transplants, so a great use!

@tyromper 1 year into downsizing somewhat and no longer having a mortgage. Live in a low property tax county in TN with no state taxes. My monthly expenses are super low. Putting an extra $1,500 into investments every month instead of mortgage interest is a huge win!

There are 5 small independent local municipal school districts in my area who ALL fund themselves via a .50% sales tax. Everywhere else in the state (TN) is 9.25% and in those areas shoppers pay 9.75%. It's a thing.

@mgiannotto Virtually ALL of the major AAU basketball circuits have changed to 15U for 8th grade. You can be 15 and play in an 8th grade event for this exact reason... Because it's increasingly normal to reclass before high school. The "8th graders" at Jr EYBL in Memphis recently were GROWN!

@patwilson53 @danorlovsky7 This is the way. Yes, refs should have caught the TO, and YES, coach put himself halfway in between the two refs in a sea of people all dressed alike, and didn't communicate. A great coach is at half court as his team advances the ball yelling his head off about a TO.

@danorlovsky7 Yes, AND it's on the coach. I'm a nobody MS basketball coach. I've had to learn that in late game situations, you find the ref EARLY... He should already be standing beside the ref at half court when that shot goes up. He's yelling and signaling TO with the ball in the air!

Took Iggy's huge contract into it, so GSW had room to sign DLo, and received a 1st pick for their trouble. Later flipped Iggy's contract to Miami. This FO has done this before.

@tyromper These are facts. Where I'm from in TN, churches have security teams now. Same color polo, wearing comms. Greet you with a smile, and the muzzle of their Glock if necessary. Another % of the parishioners are CC also. These people storming would've never made it past the lobby.

@DrewHill_DM It's SO obvious too... My 14 year old son was saying all night.. "here we go again!" each time he pulled Cam and Jock off the floor together. They seemed to be attached at the hip, and their on vs off was insane!
