If the placebo effect is real (and it is):
You can do a lot of harm by just injecting everyone with a cheap to make and harmless saline solution.
Then run an ever-growing information campaign on how the we now know that it was actually dangerous.
@excelduru Best relationship is when it doesn’t feel like you’re doing anything, but the other person always thinks you’re doing something much, and vice versa at same time
@ADarkM0ment @TakeThatNurses@forallcurious That’s very cool and very much beyond my understanding. I’m gonna try and see if I can understand any bit of it
@ADarkM0ment @TakeThatNurses@forallcurious Maybe, there’s some evidence of it. It could mean that your physical body is an avatar that you control via quantum entanglement with your brain. This ties well with holographic universe theory, which has some evidence like black hole’s entropy being proportional to its area.
@ADarkM0ment @TakeThatNurses@forallcurious The Orch OR theory says tiny quantum processes inside brain cells collapse due to gravity, and these collapses create consciousness. Because this quantum effect can be non-local, some think consciousness and memories might not be completely limited to the physical brain.
@TakeThatNurses @ADarkM0ment @forallcurious There’s some research that seems to hint at our memories actually being stored outside of our brain, they still don’t fully understand where our memories are kept
@TakeThatNurses @ADarkM0ment @forallcurious Good question, my guess is there are parallel realities and some very similar to the one you’re in, where for example, you fall and hit your head and die, but immediately get back up in the parallel reality where you also fell but just hit your head slightly different to not die
@mrmarek_ @ADarkM0ment @forallcurious You never know until you yourself die, my guess is in my reality they find a way to make me and others left in my reality immortal
