For over a year, Canada has worked intensively and in good faith with the United States to negotiate a new comprehensive trade deal. We have been pragmatic, patient, and persistent. Our goal has always been to get the best deal for Canadians, never a deal at any price or on any time frame.
Late last evening I instructed our negotiators to return to Ottawa. We cannot accept what the U.S. has offered, and we will not give what they have asked.
Canada will match the U.S.’ new tariffs dollar for dollar in order to protect Canadian workers, farmers, families, and businesses. We take this step confident that it is in the best interests of Canada.
In the coming days, we will release the details of these new tariff measures, which will come into force the Tuesday after Labour Day.
@SonyLIV@iamhrk_8 I agree @SonyLIV is laden with ads. An #indianidol episode cut through a full songs 5 times...they're ruining the experience which is the very existence of their revenue source.
My father admitted into @BPP_Hospital with high potassium. Within a day we were told they “could not find a heartbeat.” No doctor updates, ₹2L billed with no major procedure, and the body withheld for 7 hours for extortion.
Who's accountable?

@Rogers locks people into 2-yr contracts, then hikes bills mid-way without consent. No calls. No apology. No explanation. This is predatory sales practice. @CRTCeng@CompBureau Canada, please step in—we deserve protection! #TelecomAbuse#ConsumerRights
@RogersHelps@Rogers hikes my bill mid-contract, calls it a "promo expiring," shows zero empathy, and after asking me to DM, offers zero intention to resolve it is a waste of time.
Tansparency & accountability missing—not fine print & dead-end DMs. @CRTCeng@CompBureau@ccts_cprst#Telecom
@RogersHelps Exactly my point, I’ll send a DM and continue to trust the process. My only point—some empathy upfront would have been better service. That initial response made it feel like the onus was not on Rogers to be transparent. @CRTCeng@CompBureau
@RogersHelps Hello
I have been trying to contact an agent via online option for over a week now..the bot makes me wait and then disconnects the chat...I have concern regarding 4 charges on my bill. Need immediate assistance, please.
