I’m building Steward to handle the financial work people put off. It checks medical bills, disputes errors, finds subscriptions, and cancels the ones you don’t want.I also write Moving Parts.https://t.co/9jRq1BoAks

@GergelyOrosz I think this is effectively consolidation from the YOLOing. Cowork, code, chat all are converging on the same capabilities and really I want to just track sessions across whatever interface
@musharbash_b Most people probably don’t but I definitely bet ai agents in the near future will be doing a lot of heavy lifting or work for people behind the scenes without realizing it
@GergelyOrosz In my early career, I purposefully left jobs that made sales first class citizens to companies where engineering was the priority. It’s not enjoyable to be viewed as the cost center
@Zachly There’s a lot of joy to be had in accomplishing things, just now you need to figure out what those things are without someone else telling you what they are
@jaredhecht imo we’ll see a major pullback from companies making themselves available to personal agents if it means their margins get largely compressed. that and more consolidation of industries
@ReubenR80027912 Both things can be true. Plenty examples of things getting shittier in the name of profit margins. The Wendy’s ceo just admitted as much for instance
@signulll I took photos of several broken electronic devices this week and sent them to my agent to figure out the warranty replacement process. It created the accounts and submitted the forms without me needing to figure anything out. Those items would have sat in a junk drawer for months
@GergelyOrosz It's impressive but it's still in the uncanny valley. A lot is hidden by techniques like downsampling. I think in a year, we'll look at the current state of the art and this will look obviously ai to our brains.
@litcapital Why does the note taker need to look human at all? I'd be much more interested in it following up on the things people agreed to do after the call.
@firesidealpha I think the incentive question matters more than the interface. If one agent mediates everything I buy, who pays it? I'd want to know whether it found the best option for me or the best commission.
