Interoperability company partnership alert! @Redox and @Kno2 were all over social media (or at least my artisanal, handcrafted echo chamber of policy, pipes, and platforms) with the news of a collaboration of some sort.
@B_Madden4 It’s just buying a competitor’s branded keywords, I don’t really view the two differently.
For what it’s worth, I don’t have an issue with either of these. If that’s how you want to spend your marketing budget then go for it.
@basedsystems Even if we're including UMich staff in that number, 1000 is likely high.
Mass General Brigham's implementation likely had 1000+ staff, but not UMich. That install was also $1.2b+ https://t.co/aGbgqPfFNV.
@basedsystems Epic Implementation, not Integration, right? An integration can be done in a couple weeks with a handful of staff at most.
$1b seems high for UMich, but it's not unheard of for Epic.
1000 Epic employees is too high. A typical install is likely 50-100 Epic employees

“New noncompetes banned for all workers as of effective date.”
The FTC just issued a complete ban on all employee non-competes. No carveouts, no limitations, no exceptions.
Wow!
@shaavy2 @earlobeKeloid@ryangrim I would argue this is where anti-monopoly legislation needs to come into play. We shouldn’t maintain bad laws (ie. Non-competes) just because anti-monopoly legislation isn’t strong enough
