Haylee Betz, a 2024 Dental Assistant graduate from Elmwood, has already made huge strides in her career. While still a student at Penta, she gained real-world experience working in the field. Shortly after graduation, she was accepted into the EFDA program at Owens, where she completed her training in just 10 months.

Now, as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, Haylee assists doctors in chairside procedures, places fillings and sealants, and performs other advanced tasks to help patients love their smiles again. She’s especially proud to have completed all of her education right after high school, setting herself up to excel in her career early on.

She credits Penta for preparing her with the certifications and education needed to get accepted into Owens’ program.
