Dear Founders,

When you sit with warriors, the conversation is different...

When you have seen war and its consequences, life as you know it, see it, experience it - changes forever. When you lead warfighters into an uncertain future, it changes you as a person; it certainly changes you as a leader. Our founder and host Joe Musselman has sat with thousands of warriors at this point, and this is what he feels from them each time. Their leadership lessons can be uniquely translated into the journey each founder experiences along their path.

#Admiral William McRaven sat face to face with Sadaam Hussein; he commanded the rescue of #CaptainPhillips and the capture and killing of Osama Bin Laden. As the commander of U.S. Special Operations Command, he led a force of 70,000 men and women and was responsible for conducting counter-terrorism operations worldwide. He has a rare life experience we hope to share meaningfully with our audience.

We will launch the production of EP-01 shortly. This leadership conversation is special and personal to Joe Musselman. This man was his first and only #SOCOM Commander - Joe was nothing more than an E-3 Deck #Sailor (by rank) when he transitioned from the #military due to serious injury. The Admiral, instead of treating Joe by his rank, treated him like an #entrepreneur with limitless potential. Now, thousands of lives are forever #grateful for the kindness he extended Joe and his belief in him early in his career.

People often forget how little encouragement one might need from the right person at the right time to push them toward accomplishing something great. This man practices what he preaches. He walks the walk.
