In less than a month, from the day we led @typesafeai's Series Seed, the company's valuation has risen from ~200M to $7.5B (we were glad to participate in the @a16z-led Series A alongside @sequoia). The company now has nearly $1B to put to work.

Why all the fuss? Because TypeSafe is making reliable, affordable, fast, machine-native AI, which will revolutionize software broadly.

🧠 Major funding for machine-native AI: @typesafeai closed an $870M Series A led by @a16z at a $7.5B valuation—with DCVC participating alongside @sequoia —less than a month after emerging from stealth with a $40M Series Seed led by DCVC at a ~$200M valuation. 1/3 of the @FortuneMagazine 500 have already adopted their first model, Jev.

⚛️ Record-setting UK quantum milestone: @universalquant raised over $100M in Series A funding co-led by DCVC—the largest-ever Series A for a UK quantum firm—to scale its modular trapped-ion architecture into error-corrected quantum computers.

🏛️ @DARPA validated quantum scale: @Atom_Computing and @IonQ_Inc advanced to the final stage (Stage C) of DARPA’s Quantum Benchmarking Initiative—with both companies unlocking agreements worth up to $300M each in potential funding to build utility-scale quantum systems.

🌾 Award-winning AI agriculture: @verdantrobotics was named to @FastCompany's list of the Next Big Things in Food and Agriculture for its SharpShooter AI tech, which cuts pesticide application by up to 99%.

🛸 In-space operations & defense: @GoToImpulse (Impulse Space) reached the finals for the @SpaceNews_Inc Icon Awards after demonstrating autonomous proximity operations between two Mira spacecraft in LEO, while @FortemTech showcased its autonomous counter-drone radar integrated directly onto new unmanned ground platforms.

⚡ Grid flexibility & geothermal momentum: @EmeraldAi_'s flexible load coalition with @Google and @nvidia made @Reuters as a blueprinted fix for data center power bottlenecks, while @fervoenergy's record-breaking Cape Station launch continued making headlines across national energy press.
