Civil Society maintains a key role as #watchdog, promoter of reforms, and generator of new ideas. EU member states, #EU and EaP institutions should continue engaging w/ civil society.
EU political & financial support to #civilsociety is crucial but uneven across the #EaP region.

After today's adoption of the #foreignagentlaw in #Georgia we can expected more intimidation and harassment of civil society activists. Our support goes to @EaPCSF_GNP & all targeted civil society in Georgia.

Such attacks are completely unacceptable, and we call on the government of 🇬🇪 to protect #CSOs, and withdraw the law.
