II s. 4, which allows for impeachment of "all Civil Officers of the United States." That category includes all federal judges. It won't happen, of course, but that's where the power comes from.

@brianros1 Eh, I'm an OU fan and sad that Riley won't be HC anymore, but I can't fault him for taking this deal. The only thing that bugs me is that he won't be coaching OU in whatever bowl game they end up at. But otherwise, good for him, no hard feelings.

@DrMaryHicks In Jim Loeffler's human rights class, the students read some of the debates De Las Casas had concerning whether American Indigenous people's had souls (which determined whether they could convert, which determined the morality of slavery). I could send you those docs if you want.

@hammitt You should check out Azul! Literally every person I've played with loves it. (Including people who aren't board game geeks.) Plus it's fast (20-30 min), simple, pretty, and plays well with 2, 3, and 4 players.

@sammyk98_ Lesbianism and transness were not technically illegal in most of Nazi Germany, but they still suffered state violence. For more on this, I would highly recommend Laurie Marhoefer's Lesbianism, Transvestism, & the Nazi State (American Historical Review Oct. 2016). 5/5

@sammyk98_ The Nazis, for their part, had lots of idiosyncratic and internally-inconsistent ideas about biological sex, but they certainly didn't approve of anything that didn't conform to their gender standards. 4/x
