Maybe something to do with the fact that GWR run to Bristol, whereas to Birmingham there’s no competition?

@HampshireBHAFC For Train Drivers it’s 4%, after nearly 4 years since a rise, coupled to this ‘offer’ is wholesale major alterations to terms and conditions, this is the sticking point, if it wasn’t for this then a no strings pay offer would have been accepted last year.

@GarethDennis @MatthewJDalby @trains_for_kids Trains aren’t overbooked, only a certain number of Train specific advance tickets are sold, when there’s overcrowding it’s people with flexible tickets that are the cause, they can travel on any train they choose, so it can’t be controlled.
