My best friend is a type 1 diabetic, has been since she was a wee little tot. The pharmacist just denied her insulin because her insurance company (that she has been with for YEARS) randomly decided that she needed to prove to them that she’s diabetic.

@LaurentianU the conditions that students are expected to walk threw on campus to get to class are getting ridiculous. I fell 3 times in 50 meters. As a student with #disabilities a fall sets me back more then average. I am constantly scared of walking to class now.

@LaurentianU Students shouldn’t have to choose between walking on a fake sidewalk that is improperly maintained on the road besides a construction zone. The sidewalk that was set up to make up for the construction was barely accessible without the snow.

Dear abled and/or neurotypical people,

Accessability is more important than aesthetic.

Disabled people are more important than aesthetic.

If your event looks pretty but isn't accessible to disabled people, it's priorities are very, very ugly.
