@7celo@ivylynnpilled Matilda is an instructive example. It did recoup after 19 months, but returned almost no profit after that. Inconsistent grosses and a high weekly cost are scary news for investors. Of course itโs now a solid touring show; I expect the same for our Peruvian bear friend. ๐ญ
@camarasmusic@stberryesque Yes, I would love to get her back. Actually, she deserves a lot more than three months of (replacement) rehearsal and two nights on stage. She was discussed as a stunt cast even back then. Now she would probably never stunt in, except as a favor to someone.
@aakashgupta@TrentTelenko Itโs a fairly well known factoid that SPECTRE created Mexico Cityโs parade, but there were definitely other Day of the Dead parades in Mexico long before Bond showed up. Aguascalientes and Oaxaca are the most prominent examples.
@ItsAndyRyan You have a lot of replies so I may have missed one, but The Dalles in Oregon on the Columbia River is a great place for kite surfing. Thereโs a bunch of newer ones in Texas and Florida that are just made up property developers names. The Dalles got its name from fur trappers.
@uniquemoviemom I agree with you about Lee Pace, we have seen him be magnificent in so many other things, but surely you wouldnโt reject Richard Armitage, I thought he was superb
@TimelessTrvlr It also has the Bourbaki Panorama, tucked away on top of a (modern-renovated) library downtown. It shows you the founding of the Red Cross during the Franco-Prussian War. These were very popular before magic lanterns and movies. Marvelously atmospheric!

@For_Film_Fans Very few movies have been made like this, and this is the greatest of them. Early Linklater was strongly influenced. We have mostly lost the attention span and open minds to enjoy something like this now. But only mostly.
@tsburntcookies Dynamic pricing is the only way theyโll recoup this limited run with RZ in for (knock on wood) ~260 shows. Your eyes will water at the top numbers. But theyโll reserve some affordable seats.
