Confession: I have a whiplash whenever I see friends I know of back in 2018 onwards, who are used to do small-time cosplay, now going full-on Fansly, tease mode. The pandemic really changed a lot of people.

@justjargons The whole point is making the us "not-billionaires" become pawns in their global game of Risk, just for shits and giggles.

[Temporal Paralysis @tmprls]

@JosieLewis2019 @Villgecrazylady I think the enshittification process is for little techbros to be their own little pharaohs in their own tomb worlds trying to convert most of us into mindless robots for them to play their little tabletop gaming sessions.

In 2004, a German demoscene group released a game called .kkrieger.

It was a full 3D first-person shooter with dynamic lighting, textures, sound effects, music, and monster AI.

The entire executable was 96 kilobytes. Instead of storing images and audio files, they wrote C++ and Assembly that generated the 3D meshes, textures, and sound waves mathematically in RAM when the game booted.
Today, a single website's "Accept Cookies" banner is 10x larger than that entire 3D game.

Japanese fans sending abusive threats against Maya Imamori over her confession of an abused past life makes me not want to touch tokusatsu for some time. I rarely discussed about them (only knowing some shows I watched while on my 2023 country-long trip) but this seals it.

@cutelipssx I had a curse word uttered at every misplaced item I see in the grocery supermarket I worked at: meats on top of coke cans, random thawed pork at babies section, etc. On top of my usual work as a picker, which the algorithm sucked big time, because my manager refused to hire more

@rimururu95 @aelen_altria At this point I am content with us not getting any more love from Yostar at this point, & consider moving on with either Endfield or other games if Yostar couldn't be arsed to fix their long-standard problems (lack of proof-reading to ANNIHILATIO ).

[Temporal Paralysis @tmprls]

@arbtsmns @aelen_altria A bit more legalese than that, but tl;dr: the translations from Standard Mandarin to English, Japanese, Korean & many other languages (due to use of Spanish, Russian, Swedish & the pseudo-Arab-Perso-Turkish that goes on in Sargon) belonged to Yostar.

[Temporal Paralysis @tmprls]

@kenzie__xcx Evil bosses can go fuck themselves! If you can't plan your rosters properly you are NOT FIT to be a people manager!

Pushback between international Formula 1 fans wanting to see a permanent fixture of Sepang in the F1 calendar, & locals who are hard-pressed for the distribution of the country's wealth across its citizens, make this year's Formula 1 race a one-off.

[Temporal Paralysis @tmprls]

@Koiwaii Perhaps I got a meta-enlightenment of how manga-slop (the process) works, & it turns out, one anime adaptation (Humanity Has Declined) had Episodes 3 & 4 describe how mangaka & their writers tend to put more slop into their works in order to get traction.

@GarthChouteau @katierogers We are fast-forwarding Reichmaxxing

@Arin_Yumi Me, eating cold soba, potato salad & imitation crabs as my meals on my 3-month cross-Japan trip: *yummy*

For every time this platform recommends me a VTuber who used to be affiliated to a Singapore-based agency, I'd get two, but it's rare for me to BE ANGRY AT SINGAPORE FOR RUINING THE VTUBER SCENE

[Temporal Paralysis @tmprls]

@ArissTenoh @Johnny_suputama Your combined knowledge by humanity must be destroyed by AI so that they can monopolise your gametes for their Altered Carbon future of ultra-wealthies playing real-life game of Risk using your potential offsprings.

[Temporal Paralysis @tmprls]

@Calumderu @toaster016 I watched Fire Department Chronicles shorts on YT. The amount of people that demands people not have lunch breaks after delivering a patient to the hospital is insanely common.

Some people do believe they are divinely sent, which tells me they're bedevilled.

@AnaKrivolapova People here: *someone prays to a different deity* "ASDEUHEFUHEFIUHSF!"

Singapore: "I INVOKE THE GODS OF MY PEOPLE!"

[Temporal Paralysis @tmprls]

@astaf_gorilla I personally don't mind/care about whether something's halal. I don't eat out often; whichever is gentle on my sensibilities & wallets is good enough for me.
