@endbirthtourism Richmond has a significant mosquito problem (we're surrounded by sloughs and waterways - breeding grounds). The solution is to encourage bats - which can eat thousands of mosquitoes a day. But bats don't go where there is light. Bats need darkness.

@Terence75852488 @pwaldkirch I was waiting for the light to change at a crosswalk. I'm age 66 and it takes me a few seconds to gain speed on my bicycle. When the light changed to green, a right hand turner who'd come upon me honked and cursed at me because he had to wait less than 10 seconds.

(That place had security guards). Another mansion was owned by a notorious gang. We'd hear gunfire in the daytime.
