Residents of Ngong in Kajiado County are urgently appealing for government intervention as the Ngong-Kibiko-Suswa Road, particularly the 2.5km stretch between Ngong and Kibiko has deteriorated into an impassable state.

Repeated pleas to KERRA officials have reportedly gone unanswered, with some now questioning whether the officials are neglecting their duties or if there are deeper issues at play such as budget misappropriation.

Kajiado West MP George Sunkuiya is also accused of ignoring the worsening condition of the road, which many residents believe he frequently overlooks, possibly because he has access to fuel guzzlers that can navigate the rough terrain.

The road is vital for relieving pressure on the Maimahiu escarpment road, making it crucial for both the local community and commuters.

Kibiko town lies approximately 4.8 Kilometers southwest of Ngong town centre and is located along the Ngong-Suswa road.
