The layers of cheating in California are designed to cover for each other. If you focus on mail-in it’s easy to forget “harvesting.” If you focus on mail-in and harvesting, it’s easy to forget registrations, including the DMV, going back to “motor voter.” If you focus on all three, it’s easy to forget how important it is to implement real voter identification at the time of voting.
This hopscotch of malfeasance means judges get away with tossing legitimate cases all the time, as we witnessed in 2020-21. A single solution will not solve it.
How does mandatory voter ID work at all if any illegal can get a driver’s license and register to vote?
Why, incidentally, do we need Real ID as a third system outside of drivers licenses and passports? Because there is a galaxy-sized incentive to scale the criminal profitable activities of government. It’s not just California people. We were simply a good test bed.
Anyone who thinks Democrats only recently employed Marxist tactics forgets the hysterical screeds of racism the minute any Republican calmly pointed out that automatic registrations via DMV bureaucracy might be prone to corruption. And before that, it was simple voter ID. The minute the conversation dipped into rational discourse, Democrats screamed “Rock the Vote”, and got teenage idiots to ask presidential candidates what type of underwear they wore. Absurd illogic as political weapon wasn’t reserved for the post 2010 generations, though at least they weren’t as insane about pushing child mutilation, I admit.
Ten years after Democrats opposed the civil rights amendment if you listened to them you’d think some Mississippi fat, pink skinned bigot cop was camped out at every polling location in every black community in America, checking IDs will holding a night stick and fondling his sidearm.
Chicago politics was all about who could devise large scale cheating better than the other guy. It’s been a cancer on this nation going back more than a century. That it is spoken of by many with a kind of amused chagrin and historical fondness is no longer acceptable. It’s simply evil. It is stealing citizens’ votes. Until election cheating is re-criminalized from ocean to ocean in America it will remain an amusing competition for the political class, a national embarrassment, and a lie that America is either a representative Constitutional republic, a form of democracy, or a free nation.
Milton Friedman's greatest regret.
The federal government discovered the perfect crime in 1943: make employers collect taxes before workers ever see their paychecks. You think you earn $60,000 per year, but you actually earn $75,000 and hand over $15,000 to politicians without ever touching it. The psychological difference is enormous.
Before payroll withholding, Americans wrote quarterly checks directly to the Treasury. Picture yourself sitting at your kitchen table, writing a $3,750 check to the IRS every three months. The pain was immediate and visceral. Politicians faced constant pressure to justify every dollar because citizens felt the extraction in real time.
Withholding transforms this concrete loss into an abstract accounting entry. Your employer becomes an unpaid tax collector, and you never experience the actual cost of government. Worse, most people celebrate their tax refunds as government generosity rather than recognizing them as interest-free loans they provided to politicians. The Treasury collects your money throughout the year, spends it immediately, then returns your own cash and receives gratitude.
This system enables the explosion in government spending you witness today. Defense contractors billing $640 for toilet seats, agricultural subsidies for corn syrup, and congressional salaries for 535 people who rarely show up to work. When taxation feels painless, voters stop demanding accountability for how their money gets spent.
Milton Friedman helped design withholding as a wartime emergency measure and later called it his greatest regret. Free market economists recognized that the psychological pain of direct taxation creates political pressure for fiscal restraint. The temporary always becomes permanent in government hands, and the emergency justification disappears while the extraction mechanism remains forever.
As you may have noticed, you can use your X account to sign up and sign in on Mobe, and no other platform (in spite of OAuth general compatibility with many services, such as Google).
Why? Because since the buyout and the changeover from old Twitter to X, we buy into the clear, open, obvious actions taken by X under the leadership of Elon Musk. Simply put, they appear above all other platforms to be dedicated to truth.
While we do not incorporate AI into Mobe gameplay, and have no plans to do so, our experience with several AI Platforms both professionally and personally convince us that Grok is more willing to tell a user the truth than to kiss ass. While we have seen AI hallucinations on every service, including Grok, this dedication to and vigilance about "truth-seeking", we believe, is all-important.
That dovetails with the dedication to freedom of speech as a human right. Freedom itself is vastly, unimaginably, immeasurably more important than the harmful effects of "misinformation." Yet "misinformation" combined with "safe spaces" are used as the excuse to curtail the human right to free speech.
You may consider the above to be merely opinions. That's welcome. Mobe is dedicated to freedom for ALL people, whether they agree with any of the many varied and opposed opinions held by the people who have worked on and will work on Mobe.
The term "Motes and Beams" has biblical and psychological roots. They are the words of Jesus, and also a foundation of the earliest forms of scientific research in the realm of psychology (see Freud, Carl Jung, and others). Mobe was created with the intention of ecouragning ALL people no matter how opposed to communicate openly and honestly (or even anonymously and dishonestly, because you can't have the former without allowing the latter to occur ... you can't prevent the latter from occurring without curtailing the former).
We are not here to impose our biases on anyone. We are not here to tell you what you can and cannot "platform." As soon as classical liberal professors and journalists succumbed to the temptation of doing that, they destroyed the institutions they professed to love and became no longer liberal.
We will do whatever is necessary to prevent true harm, abuse, stalking, predatory behavior, of course, but we will not use that as an excuse or a Trojan Horse for controlling behavior, influencing thought, or nudging the conversation toward "approved" pathways. There are clear, bright, easy-to-spot differences between the two.
And the reason we are solely working with X and X umbrella APIs (Grok, Grokipedia, OAuth for X only, etc.) is because they are, currently, the only social media platform and AI platform in the known Solar System that takes the same approach.
Early Access to the pre-release version of Mobe is free and available now, but not for long:
https://t.co/D2PB6iOxKj
Currently supports Windows 11 only. iOS, Mac, and Android versions coming soon.
In Mobe we're talking about the survival instinct of seeking one's own group as it relates to international conflict resolution and genocide prevention, as well as myths and "mythemes" ... along with any other topic under the sun. If you have a Windows PC come join us!
As a Republican, of course I’m all for state’s rights. As a Californian, I’m tired of decades of “ballot harvesting”, now with post-Covid universal mail-in ballots, all combined with the motor-voter scam stealing my vote. Why does my government think it’s okay to steal my vote?
I just voted in California. Odds are good they’ll be “counting ballots” for several key races, for months, in the birthplace of modern information technology. Why shouldn’t I feel my vote doesn’t count? Why shouldn’t I believe the California Democrat mafia is stealing my vote?

@unseen1_unseen Everything about today's Leftist is based on one lie: To them being anti-socialist IS being fascist. They have to convince themselves and others of this because the truth is unacceptable: they are simply thieves.
@elonmusk The slightly left of center (also for a while known as FCSL) average American failed to recognize how responsible they were for our long slide into socialism.
Mobe (Motes & Beams) doesn’t attempt to replace X, more like augment it, but it does replace algorithms with constellations you can see in the night sky.
Visual conversation and ideas you can explore like a space pilot flying through lit up asteroid belts.
Why else did the Left go insane on such nonsense other than being given everything they wanted, and more, for nearly a century? $39 Trillion in debt and they’re more offended at reality than ever, and a bottomless pit of demands.
