The criticism frequently thrown at Southgate was that he didn’t change things in-game, and that he was limited tactically, not proactive etc.
Now we’ve hit a manager who /refuses/ to change tactic, plays one way, and all his subs and like for like.
One of the fears pre tournament was that Tuchel’s subs could be like-for-like replacements in playing style, particularly in wide positions, relying on freshness rather than different ways of playing to disturb opponents. Playing out a bit here.
The hardest thing about coding is being able to reason about a whole system
AI absolutely assists in the production of code, but doesn’t increase your reasoning about the system itself
Part of the way you increased your reasoning used to be as an implicit byproduct of the production itself.
That’s now gone.

@bafc_lancaster @LewisKnt9 In 2015 I spent 3 weeks going around New Zealand & Oz watching them at the CWC (including in the MCG) where they were awful. Someone told me I’d wasted my time going out there, like it was the primary reason I’d gone, and my enjoyment was tied directly to their results 🤯
@JohnofOakTree@r0hanF@paul_c_watson@CrazyCoulter Yep, completely understand, it was a mistake on my part (and it’s safe to assume that if you were talking about grounds/stadia then it wouldn’t be such a rare occurrence)
