INEOS and the Glazers aren't destroying United, they've already destroyed it.
The only thing they are best in class in is saving money while United fans suffer the consequences.
An in-depth breakdown of how they are failing yet another coach @UtdDistrict https://t.co/BNz5rkbA6a
No manager makes this squad look better than what Carrick has.
Defence is sub-par even when these players are performing at their peaks. (Minus Heaven & Yoro who are too young to judge fully). But when these sub-par players underperform, they reeeaaally underperform 🤦🏻♂️
Imagine, you're one day away from becoming the youngest debutant in the history of the biggest club in the England & your dad refuses to take you to training because he's an attention seeking freak.
People are clinically insane. If Everton’s 19th choice RB signing doesn’t stick one in the postage stamp from 30 yards we’re on 6 points from 9 in the top 5 and have played some decent football. Just chill out
It’s ridiculously unpopular to give Rashford any credit but let’s DO IT.
He’s worked his socks off today, created chances, looked so sharp.
There is a hunger to be at Manchester United.
If Ineos are sat watching this game thinking our left back situation will be fine, they’re deluded & the negligence will lead to missing out on champions league money next season
@AdamJoseph People comparing it to Lukaku’s 2nd year bulk. Difference is, Lukaku came back and looked fat. Sesko looks like he’s been on the Lewandowski diet
IF this Éderson move falls through and it’s a big if, then Manu Koné at the price being mentioned is a no brainer. With Roma interested in Zirkzee too, could work for all involved
🚨 JUST IN!!
Manchester United are expected to complete the signings of Andrey Santos and Karl Darlow on Friday! BOTH players have passed medicals with the club. They are expected to be at Carrington on Friday to sign their deals. #MUFC [Sky]
@Czooba Did we fail, really? Yeah we didn’t sign players but contextually:
- Anderson’s fee & wages are ridiculous.
- Fernandes fee & wages are ridiculous.
- Tonali fee & wages are ridiculous.
- Tchouameni was wanted by Madrid the whole time so was never really available?
Gone from a recruitment team who would chase a player until the last day of the window and overpay out of panic, to INEOS who may not always get it right but get things moving quickly, only signs players who want United & utilise a strong data team which we’ve cried out for?🤷🏻♂️
Manchester United’s reported agreement with Chelsea for André Santos an initial £48 million, plus £2 million in add ons and a possible 10% sell on clause feels like another clear statement of intent from the INEOS era.
More than the player himself, the deal reflects a club that is no longer being driven by public pressure or emotion. In the past, under previous leadership, fan sentiment often seemed to influence transfer decisions, contributing to inflated fees and poor value in the market.
INEOS have repeatedly stressed that they will not overpay, and this move appears to reinforce that stance. By sticking to a data led recruitment strategy, they have identified a midfielder they believe in at a fee that looks sensible in today’s inflated market.
The bigger picture is just as important. If these smart, fairly priced signings succeed, it sends a message across Europe: Manchester United can compete and win without paying whatever selling clubs demand. That removes the desperation factor and strengthens the club’s position in future negotiations.
For me, that cultural shift is just as exciting as the signing itself. It’s an encouraging sign for the future, and I can’t wait to see what Santos brings to Old Trafford this season.
