Today was bittersweet ✨

I bid farewell to the Statehouse and was elated to see my friend, Jodi Whitted appointed to serve the #Great28 for the rest of the year. Jodi deserves so much praise as she is willing to put her successful career on pause to serve out the rest of my term in the Statehouse to ensure the people of the #Great28 are taken care of. She and I will be supporting Karen Brownlee who is running in the new District 28 this election. 🩵

Every time a member leaves the Statehouse there is a tradition of bidding farewell where one Democrat and one Republican stands to make remarks for your time and service to the People’s House.

Today I was honored to have Minority Leader Allison Russo and Majority Floor Leader Bill Seitz speak on my time in the Statehouse. I was so humbled and honored by their kind words and then I made a speech myself.
