@LukeEdwardsTele With a transfer strategy of buying young players from abroad with potential, it becomes even more important to retain Bruno to aid their development and given them someone to learn from. Selling him would undoubtedly stunt their progression too which would undermine that strategy
@DykaRivers Newcastle will have paid him close to ยฃ1m in wages in that time! ๐ฒ. The club's willingness to accept the underhand tapping up smacks of small time. They should be going in hard and reporting Arsenal to the premier league
@addressthetoon You cut him too much slack ๐. He was straight on a plane to Brazil after the Fulham game and had his agents working flat out from that point onwards. He didn't care who was potentially coming in the door.
@JacobsBen They paid ยฃ25m for him! Three years ago when no one else was prepared to. He's proved he's good enough and transfer fees have gone silly since then. So if any cartel clubs want him, they pay what Bournemouth want or they piss off. Easy choice for them.
@LukeEdwardsTele@HelloBenWhite I don't know why people rise to, and give credence to what they see on here. It's a vacuum (of morons in some cases) that doesn't represent all fans. The reaction Howe receives from the away end and fans in the stadium ๐๏ธ is a truer barometer
@CoachMeron And of the 8 academy lads who signed scholarships, two are goalkeepers (Mair & Dowell) who have represented England ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ at their age and highly thought of. They'll both turn 17 years old in 2026, so not much younger than the ยฃ20m French acquisition.
@JoelBlandSport If they're as strapped for cash as all the commentators are saying following the UEFA sanctions, this would be madness/insanity ๐คฏ. Injury prone and ridiculous fee for just 'potential'
@NUFC360@SkySports_Keith Why is the valuation much less than Tonali and Anderson? People play too much football manager as 28/29 year olds have many years left and are no where near finished. Especially those who have no pace to lose in the first place and play with their ๐ง . Just look at Modric etc
@LukeEdwardsTele The optics of doing so would be horrendous for @NUFC
They need to do what Marinakis did with Spurs and MGW last summer, and tell Arsenal to piss off
@JacobsBen@alex_crook I remember the good old days when tapping up a rival player wasn't just frowned it, it was illegal. ๐ Put a formal complaint in @NUFC and come out swinging. Throw the book at them @premierleague and show some balls
@LukeEdwardsTele Agree with most of this, inc overall verdict. Losing a player of his magnitude causes catastrophic damage to the "project". On Isak - NUFC got close to their asking price in the end and L'pool got an unfit player who wasn't ready to play for months. Not sure they view deal fondly
