SpaceXAI says it is working on allowing users to start a voice call directly with their Grok Bot.
The feature would let users interact with Grok Bot verbally, rather than having to communicate through the chat interface.
Some back of the napkin math tells me that SpaceX would roughly need to increase global Oxygen production by around 50% a year to meet the launch demands for this site
Starship V3 has a 3.6:1 O/F ratio. Therefore LOX is 3.6/3.6+1 = ~78% of the fuel in weight of both booster and ship is oxygen.
5650 Tonnes full x ~0.78 = ~4,400 tonnes of LOX per launch.
30 Launches a day x 365 = 10,950 launches/year
10,950 x 4,400 Tonnes a launch =~ 48,000,000 Tonnes of Lox a year.
50m/90m tons of global oxygen production a year =~ 55% increase in global total production.
Absolutely insane scales of industrialization.
I also need to point out that of the 90MT/Y is for the total market ~88% is gaseous by market volume, if we Naively apply that ratio to the total global production then we get 11.4 MT/yr, so 48 + 11.4/11.4 = 59.4Mt/yr = 420% increase in global Lox production. Nice.
LOX is probably closer to ~30-40% of global production though but these numbers are really hard to read in to in any serious technical detail but no matter how you cut it it's an INSANE amount of fuel production.
@WesRoth On-prem, business-specific-tuned, sovereign models; small business and PCs like doctors and lawyers, huge opportunity for growth - reminds me of my jump to tech in '96ish because I could "speak internet". Good step towards the needed 1.5 TB commodity box.
