@naruasd Planned obsolescence is looked down upon

@QDgH1tWT3DQRp5n @Ivanhb2912 @Bonjinmen Shouldn't you consider that many of these fans are massive fans of the franchise? They have likely bought Tekken copies in the past. Most people would gladly pay for an official and polished version if the company decides it has value.

@hassi_84_V @maneater_dgr It's an issue of service. Many people don't have access to manga localized in their language, so the only way to enjoy it is to use scanlations. The publisher is choosing to not make money on that audience, and thus nothing is lost. Oftentimes localized versions are years behind.

@zusammenarbeits @Envy_Kira13 @H6736073575498 @maneater_dgr Shouldn't it be up to the companies to protect their IP, and not the consumer? If Bandai doesn't feel like it intrudes much then why should there be outcry?

[toner @tonerr_]

@maneater_dgr There's a large western movement of the preservation of games. There are already many discussions in European Parliament regarding the "Stop Killing Games" initiative, which is somewhat related.
