@ahles_joel@UMT_stauba @grizzlycbiggs I like that idea. Keep the students and teachers in safe situations and also be relaying information to them to keep them up to date on what’s happening. #EDLD502
@ArceniegaJonkar It would be nice to have some kind of communication device, either a phone or wallow talkie that he could be in the halls and have contact with the office. #EDLD502
#EDLD502 from a teacher perspective and a parent perspective I would want the principal in the area where the critical decisions needed to be made. It’s hard to say if that’s in the office or hall from this situation. As an administrator I would want to be helping student.
@hobbs_chere My principal has always urged us to answer the question “what is best for the student” when you don’t know what to do. I agree with her that they are always who we need to consider first and foremost. #EDLD502
@hobbs_chere I agree. I have used discussion boards before and have not got as much out of them as tweeting with others about our thoughts on ethics. #EDLD502
@rae_brouwer In my experience going to the teachers for a solution is always helpful. For administrators to change things without input of their staff never seems to work in the long run. #EDLD502
#EDLD502 Our school constantly struggles with ethics of care and educational standards. Is it more important for students to get the care that they need or that their education is of the upmost importance. Sometimes one suffers because of the other.
