Barnsley born and bred 'raggy lad' fighting against 'culture of greed' and for fairness, equality of opportunity, social justice and a living income for all.
No One in any place of Governance, wealth, influence, or power Gives a flying fuck about doing the right thing.
Everyone is just raking in as much wealth as they can, before Humanity nose dives.
Baroness Michelle Mone and husband made approximately £200 million personal profit from supplying defective medical gear to the NHS.
They were handed the contract with no competition or process despite having zero experience in the sector.
Nobody is in jail. They keep the cash.
Tony Blair is the living embodiment of what happens when political office becomes a down payment on future plunder. Ejected in 2007 by his own MPs as a massive liability, he bequeathed Britain a wild casino economy primed for the 2008 crash. And when the British economy crashed and burned, Mr Blair kept quiet while honing his skills at securing power by other means.
His first job, after his ejection from 10 Downing Street, was as the West’s Middle East envoy, with a supposed emphasis on Gaza. It took six painful years for Mr Blair’s tenure to prove a failure so profound it amounted to active complicity in Israel’s ethnic cleansing, in Palestinian erasure, and in paving the ground for the ongoing genocide.
Soon after, the Chilcot Inquiry demolished Blair’s Iraq lies, exposing him as a liar, a chancer and a war criminal responsible for countless corpses of Iraqis, but also of British soldiers.
Then came Blair’s real innovation: the financialisation of the ex-premiership itself. The Tony Blair Institute, fuelled by £130 million from Oracle's Larry Ellison—coincidentally, the largest individual donor to the Friends of the IDF—became a shadow state, brokering governance contracts for autocrats and companies like Palantir that weaponise AI to produce mega-death abroad and full-on surveillance of Western populations.
Now, in May 2026, this corporate fixer issues a 5700 word tantrum demanding that Labour embrace Trump even more than Starmer already has, denounce what is left of Labour’s betrayed Green New Deal, and trash the remnants of workers' rights. This is not the wisdom of an aging statesman. It is the frantic squirming of a man fearing his grip on oligarchic power might soon wane and whose entire post-10 Downing Street existence depends on preventing the many from ever reclaiming what the few have plundered.

In this interview with Alibaba’s founder, Jack Ma, America’s moral and strategic bankruptcy is put on full display.
For over 30 years, US corporations pillaged their own country, shipping jobs and industry overseas while stuffing themselves with profits so grotesque they eclipse the combined wealth of China’s four largest banks.
An astonishing $14.2 trillion was torched on 13 senseless wars, wars that achieved nothing except enriching defense contractors and geopolitical parasites, while the rest of the loot was shoveled straight into Wall Street’s bottomless maw.
Roads rot, bridges fail, cities decay, and working people are abandoned to scrape by in an economy rigged against them.
What remains is not a superpower, but a hollowed-out carcass: a nation addicted to greed, governed by incompetence, and utterly indifferent to its own collapse.
America didn’t fall,it sold itself off piece by piece, and now stands as a cautionary monument to unchecked profit worship.
“I think it’s questionable whether either in America or Britain we have a democracy…You’ll never have democracy while big business buys both parties and expects a pay off whichever one wins.”
~ Tony Benn
I think that if you’re going to write a piece in the Times urging the government to use and boost more AI, the fact that you are paid by a major AI company should be in the first sentence, or at least first paragraph.
I also think that the best scenario for AI is that it destroys millions of jobs with the prosperity, dignity and community that goes with them.
The worst scenario is the destruction of the human race - a fear openly expressed by an increasing number of senior and experienced AI engineers who are leaving the industry.
And somewhere in between a myriad of horrors such as yet more screen learning and screen addiction for our children.
But I do see that it will make rich men even richer. And that’s the most important thing of course.
Lots of new eyes are opening to the lies we've all been sold our entire lives.
Many haven't even seen this gem.
Share it with them.
Just ask them to watch it... and then let them stew in the implications for themselves.
Welcome to the mindwar.

Tony Benn speaks in the Commons: “Ministers have lied and lied and lied about the mining industry.

Frank Zappa was decades ahead of his time. He said this in 1981:
"Schools train people to be ignorant... They give you the equipment that you need to be a functional ignoramus."
"They prepare you to be a usable victim for a military industrial complex that needs manpower."
"As long as you're just smart enough to do a job, and just dumb enough to swallow what they feed you, you're going to be alright."
"Schools mechanically and very specifically try and breed out any hint of creative thought in the kids that are coming up."
