I'd imagine we can still utilize CSS variables that are defined outside of a scope from within the scope? i.e. if we have a self-contained widget and we want to expose a `widget-h2-color` variable to the parent container?

imo that's the "not hard" part – anyone can learn it

@praeturexiii @Leonard21533662 @nolikenet @notch I recently saw a somewhat useful distinction made between "business" programmers and "art" programmers, aka those who primarily use code as a tool and those who identify with their work.
I think the latter group's extra averse to it because it threatens their identity.

@JamesMikrut @adamwathan @payloadcms This is exactly one of the boxes Payload checked for me – I fussed around with CKEditor in Drupal and MDX for a while to do something like this, but now it's easy as pie with Lexical in Payload
