I'm really confused of the Work mode outside the web app. In the web app I kinda get it, it's also connected to Chat memory, but in the desktop app I don't understand the difference between Work & Codex.

@crowleylab @kimmonismus @BenPielstick I'm a non-coder very confused of Work. I've been using mostly the Codex side of the new app for tasks. The only times I use Work is in the Web app cuz it's connected to my Chat memory. But in the desktop app Work isn't connected to memory so I don't see a reason to use it.

You also have phone, internet, insurance, car or transportation payments, a subscription or two, haircut, other unforseen expenses or fees (and this is bare minimum, no entertainment, no pets, no kids).

@opera You guys, I suggest you share that your ChatGPT connector makes Opera a good replacement for the now retiring Atlas. I've been looking for 2 weeks for a solution to have my ChatGPT with my memory in the browser & Opera provided. Thank you! Others might wanna know about this too.

@MikeAhner @TannisBell1 We have greenhouses on rooftops in my city, and greenhouses that use the heat generated from data centres in winter. And our government made big investments to expand our local greenhouse infrastructure. I buy locally produced vegetables all year round.

@cameron_la16967 @guyfelicella In 2025 when the boycott started I was actually impressed that like 75% of my groceries were already Canadian products. Even toilet paper, detergent, deodorant, soap, sanitary products, cleaners etc all Canadian. And the rest, other countries, not US.

@Dadsaysjokes In Quebec, where I am hydro is the best source of renewable energy, and 99% of electricity in the province is from renewables (the 1% are super remote communities). So pretty much everyone in Quebec is all good for driving EVs.

@guyfelicella Yup!! Just got back from the groceries store. Didn't get any US products. And I'm about to cancel Netflix & subscribe to Crave. I'll also look into other work apps, what else I can cancel or switch. I'm paying more $$ sometimes to buy Canadian, but it's worth it.

@esjesjesj To be fully honest, ADHD people (especially women) tend to get diagnosed with trauma & anxiety first, and then after SSRIs fail, then they start looking into other causes. But this title is BS tho, and so is Elon.

I don't want to touch American milk and I would ask every coffee shop I go to to show me the exact box of milk they're using for my latté so I know it's not American. US food products are far inferior in quality and that's why they're cheaper. Keep that crap out of Canada
