Back in Nov 2016, after Elwelu led a military raid on the Rwenzururu palace where hundreds of guards and helpers were killed, Andrew Felix Kaweesi(RIP) the then police spokesperson came on TV bragging that, over 41 palace guards have been neutralized(taken out of action) by the security forces.
That same week he appeared on NBS TV frontline talk show with Miria Matembe who knowingly or unknowingly appeared to have cast a spell on Kaweesi's life. As they say, the rest is history

My love for Thomas Sankara is actually very very very particular. Writing my book on the stories of women who built the African nations we have today but we have forgotten. I did deep research ooh. There is no skeletons i did not look for in the men you all celebrate on this continent. And Sankara as i was told by his wife Mariam when I interviewed her in 2018: he really lived his politics.

It is also maybe why he knew Blaise Compaoré was planning to kill him and yet refused to alienate him first. He allowed his friend to go through his evil plan because he believed dying an honest man.

In the book written by his best friend Valerie, he narrated the last days of Sankara. Many people told him that he was going to get killed yet he said : if my friend thought I deserve to be killed for power, then let it be.

So no don't bring Sankara's name when mentioning Mandela who after 27 years in Prison, his name maintained and protected by Winnie who spend her young years fighting for his release, he got out and ran a campaign against Winnie. No don't mention Sankara's name with Nyerere or who not.
