Yo @TkDodo, I remember that there was an idea for some kind of PrefetchBoundary that would make sure that the query uses prefetched data from the server. Somehow I can't find the thread/post where it was discussed. Any progress on that, or was it abandoned?
Stages for Validiums & Optimiums are now live on L2BEAT!
Until now, the Stages framework only applied to rollups. This change closes that gap by taking into account the extra trust assumptions that come from the DA Layers.
New on L2BEAT: detailed pages for every interoperability protocol we track. 🌉
Each page breaks down a protocol's activity - volume, flows between chains, top tokens, transfer times, and individual transfers, all in one view.
Available now for all 34 protocols we support.
the founder of “the defi report” (apparently sponsored by @galaxyhq) doesn’t read the chain. the two main claims he provides are false:
1. users do need to fully trust lighter team with their funds. contracts are instantly upgradable. escape hatch doesn’t work.
2. the state cannot be fully reconstructed and therefore audited. we know because we tried.
l2beat is free!
We’re thrilled to unveil our new Interactive Interop page - a visual map of how value moves across the ecosystem.
The ecosystem is no longer a list of silos. Our interactive hub lets you visualize the connections between 15 chains and 33 supported protocols. 👇
Well, @l2beat is doing 24/7 risk monitoring for onchain configs and risks for the last 5 years with advanced tooling designed for this one purpose. We are open to work with any DeFi protocol, RWA issuer, etc...
Please reach out to us. We need to make DeFi safe again (MDSA)
Can a Validium or Optimium be more secure than a rollup?
Yes, if you meet them at different stages of their decentralisation journey.
A Stage 1 alt-DA L2 can offer stronger security guarantees than a Stage 0 rollup. Here's why. 🧵
Our Interoperability Dashboard now supports @BNBCHAIN!
You can now track how value moves between the Ethereum ecosystem and alt-L1s, starting with BNB.
Here's what we saw today 👇
Huge $PYUSD flows from @ethereum to @arbitrum through @LayerZero_Labs in the past 24h 👀
Since the beginning of February, the PYUSD supply on Arbitrum has been steadily growing and currently sits at $473M.
to fully appreciate rollups, one also needs to look at how value moves between chains using other type of bridges.
in particular we want to see how tokens move between Ethereum and alt-L1s, and how much trust is put there. We will soon support BSC, Solana, Tron and so on.
We started by bringing transparency to rollups, and we’re working to extend that clarity to every key component of the ecosystem’s tech stack. Now, we’re doing the same for interoperability.
We’re thrilled to unveil L2BEAT Interop - your go-to resource for tracking how value actually moves across the ecosystem.
New Stage 1 requirements countdown starts today ⌛
L2BEAT will soon require all Stage 1 rollups to make their proving systems fully reproducible - including ZK verifiers, program hashes, and fault proof prestates.
Projects have 6 months to comply or get downgraded to Stage 0. More about the change 👇
