campaigning for improved safety measures on shared towpaths where vulnerable individuals feel at risk & investment in a cycling infrastructure fit for purpose
Paint is not enough. Good infrastructure communcates clearly, even when the paint can't be seen. People walking and cycling across this road end (ahead) see a surface that looks like the footway (pavement) and cycle track continue. But people driving see nothing very different.
We've heard it's crunch time for #HS2 today . . .
So today of all days let's make sure @BorisJohnson & co. see the opposition to this money swallowing, ancient woodland destroying absurd vanity project .

Can’t stop thinking about @LittleWomen thank you #gretagerwig & team for such epic storytelling & a film experience that drew me in so completely that I never wanted it to end
Whatever possessed the powers that be at @ITV to commission a programme as terrible as #TheMaskedSinger & schedule it for prime time viewing on a Saturday night! You cannot make a silk purse out of a sows ear, no matter how spectacular the costumes

4.45 am. Knocking on the side of the boat.
"John, are you there? John?"
Me:"There's no John here."
"Sorry mate."
If I hadn't been here to answer this person would have boarded my boat and taken the few possessions that I own.
Life is scary, look after yourselves.
Is this the kind of Britain we want to be post-Brexit?
A country which denies refugees sanctuary and pushes vulnerable children into the hands of people smugglers?
Boris Johnson should be ashamed, and the Tories should reverse this inhumane decision.

The world is burning , flooding and dying - millions are suffering . We teeter on the brink of war - millions could die . We’ve got millions of old , hungry , homeless and sick people queuing up for help and he all he wants a is . . . a ‘bong’ . God help us .
🏡 and it's a wonderful Friday.... after just over 3 months missing, HOLLY has been found safe and well!!!! #reunited
Many good wishes for Holly and her delighted mum!!
We can now see some of the horrors that are being shoehorned into our city’s streets in the name of cycling. I’ll be posting some of them. First up Whitechapel High Street, where they managed to get away with this shocker.
Once again the #foxhunting clique kills yet another fox. It appears the majority of police & courts either condoning these brutal killings or really don't mind having the piss taken out of them. There can't be any other reason this lot keep getting away with it.
@rickblackman01@dr_jowett That particular episode has stuck in my head too and I remember my mum explaining what ‘shell shock’ was to me whilst watching - certainly says something about your dad’s ability to create a memorable impact through his onscreen acting. My sincere condolences to you
I have some sad news to impart. On friday 3rd of January my old dad Christopher Beeny died at his home in Kent. He was 78. Comforted to know he was not alone at the end and was in his armchair.
Today I realised just how lonely I am, my husband died 12 years ago today and not one text off my family to see how I am mental health is shite as no one wants to talk to you
