@Sai_Ishaya_ I am no fan of the labour governemt. But this is 100% the right decision. We secure a massive investment and jobs and with that the tax revenue. Not to mention it will make Britain a more appealing destination for European and other tourist who wish to visit the park.
@benbrownuk@LoftusSteve@politixintheuk From what I understand it’s due to a lot of jenricks reforms that were brought in and are now being reported. I’d love to see some independent analysis on the why not just the figures
@SaulStaniforth@ZackPolanski By good estimate the uks billionaires are worth £600b to £700b the uks welfare budget £334b. So if you somehow took all their money it would fund welfare for 2 years
@sarah_go_green@speak2thegeek@home@raspberrypi Paul Hibbert has a good video on home assistant and there are some good tutorials on YouTube’s. Have you added the compute model so it’s now ready to go?
@Heccles94 I think this is reasonable and people across the board would agree. People should keep more of the money they make. Would also get rid of punitive removal of allowance. In today’s system 150k nets you £101,325 in yours they take £107,000 so support would be broad.
@CoasterJoey Some super weird replies to this post. It’s sad to see and it’s becoming a theme across the UK with the exception of paultons who are doing a fantastic job. Taking the kids there next week.
@N17W5@pokeefe1@PremLeaguePanel He really wasn’t. As someone who follows the baggies (family) they were playing some good football just had no cutting edge. Next huge was even bloody worse
@KateFantom I have solar and battery and drive electric. But I also recognise it’s probably prudent to ensure we have a better supply of fossil fuels for the short to medium. As Greg Jackson points out, if we electrify everything and run that electricity from gas it’s still uses a lot less
@edwinhayward I would like to see a system similar to some of the incentives in the US where by I can reduce my tax bill by buying things like an ev / solar / battery etc
