For example, I designed my own logo with the golden daisy (Shasta Daisies are a real flower) and I wanted to present myself as a kind & empathetic attorney. It's been working so far!

I'm also the "purple haired lawyer" (I've been doing a purple underlay for over a year now!)--maybe not the most appropriate if I were doing BigLaw, but my foster kid clients think I am awesome. It's also far more casual out here in New Mexico!

Spend $$ on what others do most efficiently so you can spend your time on what YOU do most efficiently (i.e. legal work that results in billable hours). Definitely something I'm working on... #solopracticetips @abayld @martindalellc

Figure out what's right for you: Research case management systems? Hire a tax accountant? AND If you think you can't afford an assistant, run the numbers to see how much it might actually save you (even if they're part-time)! #solopracticetips (my assistant is awesome)
