Class started on 3rd September 2024, and the exam ended on 20 December 2024.

I genuinely thought they were joking when they told me their salary.

This is literally exploitation. Even an entry-level software engineer earns more than this.

How can you expect an honest officer to do a great job when you pay them so poorly, this system is designed to tempt people toward corruption.

After all, they also have a life - to support a family, raise children, pay school fees, look after aging parents, and build a secure future.

I know people will say increasing salaries won’t reduce corruption, that’s a stupid and lazy argument, but definitely not paying them well is a bad idea.

When people work hard, carry enormous responsibility, and still feel underpaid they start morally justifying a little bit of corruption. In the end, that costs the country far more.
