i love that i log on here and see people who speak my mind.
as regards that, i am also that guy that needs a change of environment to get some extra kick of creativity or work done. THOUGH, i must say that it is very stressful to pack a bag with essential items just to go out
how do people have the mood to pack their Mac, dress up, walk across the city, go to a coffee shop, find a place there, order something, unpack their shit, and start working while being surrounded by noise, random people, and unexpected circumstances...
when you can just make the coffee and at home and work right away at peace?
A moment of pain for a lifetime of glory.
That's what you need to endure if you want to succeed at trading.
Most of you get lured into taking that next trade on impulse. Oversizing. Trading against your plan.
Every time you do it, the further and further you get from reaching your goals.
It's uncomfortable to sit with a loss on the day/week. Admitting you were wrong, and not letting it impact your next trade.
It's what every great trader knows how to do.
Local minima are extremely rare in high dimensional spaces, so if you ever feel stuck in a rut it’s probably just because you aren’t considering a wide enough set of orthogonal options
when i meet someone new i rarely if ever ask what they enjoy/like or whatever. shared enthusiasms tell me almost nothing cuz everyone likes the same stuff now (travel, food, yada yada).
the interesting bit almost always lie in what we mutually dislike so i always ask about stuff the person hates.
shared negative attitudes bond people faster & harder than shared positive ones.
as of February this year im done with prop firms including the great FTMO. All very fishy firms.
Trade your own capital. Start with $1000 and grow from there. Pay yourself.
@hooeem All of this information was already available. The point of a personal trainer is to have someone directly next to you telling you what to do and act like a friend
