What is Joe Burrow when Lamar is healthy? Irrelevant and missing the playoffs.
What is Lamar when Burrow is healthy? Still AP1 and should have won MVP in 2024. AFC North champ too.
One needs the other to be injured to get the spotlight. The other doesn't. Simple as that.
@relishdaddy@PigTownSports Dumbfounding to me that you want to pay a guy based on what he will do in the future, but at the same time continue to put a black hole in the top third if your lineup for what he's done in the past.
@zeroforwinger@ThirstRoundPick The only explanation you need is, if you have an opportunity to make a run at the playoffs, you do it. The trades were fine. But acquiring AAAA talent to replace the key pieces that left does not help. Make moves that help both this season and the future.
Gunnar was the one player on the roster than couldn't have the worst season of his career, and he has, by a significant margin. If Gunnar was even last year's version, yesterday doesn't happen. If he's not happy, look in the mirror.
Gunnar sharing Adley’s draft call to his stories leads me to believe he also isn’t happy with where things are at. And with Jim’s thinly veiled shade, I think things could get hella interesting
@TheBmoreBeak I agree. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Trimble and Kjerstad, though. I think if Trimble had stayed healthy, he'd probably already be here. 10 HRs in 24 games is ridiculous.
@BradishMuse@joelsteam21 I appreciate the calm and rational explanation. I think your ability to separate from the downfall of the team shows strong mental fitness. And if people are coming at you with heinous remarks, I get your stance. Just remember that not everyone has the same ability to separate.
@BradishMuse@joelsteam21 What are you trying to prove, like, ever? All you do is talk about how you're better than everybody bc you don't let this stuff bother you. Good for you. The real question is, what is wrong with you that you feel the need to call anybody emotionally invested in the team a child?
