Good to see how Netherlands parliament asks the government to adjust the travel regulations for civil servants, so they will also be able to use the train on distances over 500 km when appropriate!

Hard to believe there are so few multimodal travellers. Most have to cover a first/last mile. Even if this is done walking or cycling. Let's consider this multimodal too. It needs proper infrastructure, spurs transit demand and enables liveable cities! #EUMultimodalityYear

(nacht)treinen zoals naar Barcelona hoeven we niet te wachten tot het Fr en Sp spoor open gaat. Int. verkeer is geliberaliseerd, mag nu al door iedereen die wil opgestart worden. Nachttrein is goed middel om trein aantrekkelijker te maken tot 1300+ km!
