@europeanslpr Just started up a brand new sleeper train company! We love it and are really excited to know what the first destination will be! You too? Sign up on https://t.co/7PverleZLG
Good to see how Netherlands parliament asks the government to adjust the travel regulations for civil servants, so they will also be able to use the train on distances over 500 km when appropriate!
We congratulate ProRail with their cool ambition to try new international train links at the occasion of the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest. If we can be of any help, let us know!

Hard to believe there are so few multimodal travellers. Most have to cover a first/last mile. Even if this is done walking or cycling. Let's consider this multimodal too. It needs proper infrastructure, spurs transit demand and enables liveable cities! #EUMultimodalityYear
@TimHowgego@Barbora_Mickova@ALLRAIL_EU@Bulc_EU Do you mean to say efficiency/yield management creates complexity? And if so, why? What makes you think multimodalism is marginal? Every rail - or airline passenger is a multimodal passenger.
The interesting question is: where? We think cooperation and getting rid of the apparent fear of losing the unique customer relation and perceived conflict of interests might be the way to go! #EUMultimodalityYear
Would it be a good idea to start an obligatory common liability fund for all operators, and a right for each user to contact any operator to their convenience with damages occurred in any journey, to be compensated, even if this operator was not involved? #EUMultimodalityYear
Not only for PRMs, local transport modes are relevant. All users travel door to door! A whole chain of connections across the continent can go wrong when one local bus gets cancelled, with the passenger having to deal with uncertainty and additional costs! #EUMultimodalityYear
Second block of speeches on multimodality started off loaded with apparent impossibilities. Thanks to Patrycja Gautier from BEUC with very clear consumer demands and Barbara Forster FINALLY giving a very realistic example, it became interesting again. #EUMultimodalityYear
We are in Brussels today to hear about the current state of affairs on delivering EU-wide multimodal travel information, planning and ticketing services. Is it a dream, or reality? #EUMultimodalityYear
