Omar Abdulkadir Artan, a football referee who would have made history as the first Somali referee to facilitate games at the World Cup, has left the United States after being denied entry on 6 June by US Customs and Border Patrol, ostensibly due to Somalia’s presence on the Trump Muslim travel ban list.
Upon reaching Mogadishu, he was greeted by a packed stadium full of supporters.
The Trump Administration later declared he was denied entry due to “vetting concerns”, alleging Artan maintained ties to organizations that made him a national security threat.
India ka future kisi ek leader ka nahi, balki un students, youth, farmers, workers aur common people ka hai jo injustice ke khilaf awaaz utha rahe hain. Jab students ke saath anyay ho, institutions slow ya silent ho jayein, aur awaam ko sirf slogans diye jayein,
tab badlav zaroori ho jata hai.
Ab waqt hai dar ke nahi, sawal poochne ka. Constitution, democracy aur justice ko bachane ke liye har Indian ko jagna hoga. Sarkar vote se aayi hai, aur vote se hi badli bhi ja sakti hai.
Nafrat nahi, nyay chahiye. Dictatorship nahi,
Jab students ke saath anyay ho, institutions slow ya silent ho jayein, aur awaam ko sirf slogans diye jayein, tab badlav zaroori ho jata hai.
Ab waqt hai dar ke nahi, sawal poochne ka. Constitution, democracy aur justice ko bachane ke liye har Indian ko jagna hoga.
"The infrastructure that belongs to the people of this land is not something that can be easily destroyed or destroyed," the message continues. "My mother... Iran... Take care of yourself whether we are here or not."
A music teacher in Tehran returned to his school, which was destroyed by an airstrike on March 23, and played a traditional Persian song in the middle of the rubble.
"This sound, maybe it will be the last sound of this school. And maybe even the last sound of me playing. Maybe I won't be here tomorrow either. But this sound will remain," he wrote on a message to ABC News along with the video.
@ricwe123@irfhabib To my dear Muslim brothers & sisters facing trials right now: Hold on with sabr. Allah describes the truly #righteous in Surah Al-Baqarah 177 as those "who are #patient in #poverty, #hardship, and #battle." Inna Allaha ma'as-sabireen – Indeed, Allah is with the patient (2:153).
@AJEnglish Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.
Even after recognising Palestine, PM Albanese got booed inside the mosque on Eid. Humiliating a guest in the House of Allah is NOT Islamic.
Quran 49:11 → Do not ridicule or defame others. Show empathy. Keep adab.

The Federation of GCC Chambers condemned the recent Iranian attacks on the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, describing them as senseless assaults on the region’s development model, founded on justice, stability, and openness.
In an official statement, the Federation said the attacks terrorized residents and violated religious values, international conventions, and the principles of good neighborliness.
As the representative of the private sector in the GCC countries, the Federation reaffirmed its commitment to key principles, including steadfast support for the region’s political leadership in all measures to defend the homeland, protect citizens and residents, and safeguard the economic, developmental, civilizational, and knowledge-based achievements of the GCC countries.
This came at the conclusion of the emergency meeting of the Federation held today, Monday, March 16, via videoconference. The meeting was chaired by H.E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Chamber and President of the Federation and attended by Their Excellencies the presidents of the Gulf chambers and federations, as well as the Secretary-General of the Federation. Discussions focused on the challenges facing the Gulf economy in light of the Israeli American conflict with Iran.
