@alexmuramoto@unity@googlemaps@oculus No I haven't. While I definitely *should*, these demos were written fairly quickly while I was on paternity leave. I would be absolutely mortified if anyone had to look at this code before I cleaned it up. Ha.
A completely unscientific video where I compare Unity's new 2020 default HDRP project on my 2017 MacBook Pro to my 2020 MacMini M1. First off, beautiful project @unity3d. Secondly, nice job Apple. 2021's Pro models should be great for creators. #madewithunity#Apple
Got bored and made this @unity3d based AR project using a Pac-Man board game. Wanted to test physical objects as markers. Built for iOS ARKit. Uses custom A* based pathfinding. (Just a tech test. Definitely not a commercial project!) #madewithunity#ar#ios#creativetechnology
Part 2 of 3, of my last non-client "just for fun" project of paternity leave: some AR rapid prototypes using Google Maps for Unity SDK (via iOS ARKit) Cool stuff from @Unity and @GoogleMaps. #madewithunity#GoogleMaps#VR#creativetech
Part 1 of 3, of my last non-client "just for fun" project of paternity leave: exploring the Google Maps for Unity SDK. Rapid prototyping map-based Game projects. Love it @Unity and @GoogleMaps! Sadly, time to get back to real work now. #madewithunity#GoogleMaps#VR#creativetech
I posted smaller sections yesterday, but here's the full 2:00 version of my tests connecting @unity3d's Visual Effects Graph to a MIDI piano, guitar and drums. Not client work - strictly for my own amusement. I ❤ VFX Graph. #madewithunity
@unity3d Thanks! Honestly, I just really wanted to learn Visual Effects Graph while stuck home with a 2 month old. It’s been very fun. My effects could use some work - but the hardware connection was a blast (connected a piano, drums and a guitar)
Entertained myself over paternity leave by connecting a MIDI piano to @unity3d's Visual Effect Graph. Now I can be my own iTunes visualizer. #madewithunity#VFX
I've been entertaining myself over paternity leave. Like this experiment: 3 days to make a really weird @unity game (2 days of coding/effects, and 1 day on UI/basic 3D). Fun testing out multiplayer (@exitgames Photon Engine) and Shader/VFX Graph. #madewithunity#worstcontroller
Nothing is better than decorating for the holidays. Merry Christmas - from Trapset Interactive. Game Author available on the @AppStore https://t.co/uv1gRk4ryG
PencilKit for iOS/iPadOS 13 is a stunning framework. We just updated our dice design app (Game Author) and in ~1 day of coding, PencilKit took our drawing tools from decent to amazing. (wish I had better drawing skills....) Game Author v1.3 now available on the @AppStore
Using Game Author this week for a Halloween session of West End Games classic Ghostbusters RPG (and projecting the Ghost Die up to an Apple TV). Game Author available on the @AppStore for iPadOS. https://t.co/uv1gRjMQa6
@BryantD Not currently - fullscreen only. But we are actively tweaking the UI (as we work to adapt it for a future iPhone version), so I'll see what we can do. Thanks for any and all suggestions.
We released our game design app just in time for #Gencon2019. Game Author - design, roll and share custom dice. Available now for iPad. https://t.co/uv1gRjMQa6 #tabletopgaming#gamedesign#gencon#dnd
@KevinWilson42 Ahh! Too bad! Well, not sure if you're an iPhone guy either, but working on making a future version for that (Android will be a wait - just an indie app developer with limited resources). But again - thanks for all the good times and great games!
Hey @KevinWilson42, not sure if you have an iPad but we just released an app for tabletop designers (niche audience! ha). If so, DM me and I'll send a free download code. Hoping for some designer feedback! (have a ton of your designs BTW. LOVE games with custom dice) - Greyson
